Avast, ye swabs! Ever aware of end-of-semester shenanigans but frustrated nonetheless with the Mark-to-other ratio of things these last 16 days, he set sail through unchartered waters in the hopes the venture'd be fruitful. Even if nothing good comes of it, he knows enough not to be afraid to try.

( Wherein a tiny ant is dabbed with the 'dead smell'. Despite her fervent protests, she is declared 'dead to the community' - an outcast repeatedly sent to the 'dead pile.' But this is an optimistic story! The ant eventually cleans herself off and is included back into the community, and we learn much about the ways in which creatures (other than humans) communicate. )
